Hey there, fellow foodies and wanderlusters!

 

I'm Kerzia (pronounced like "Persia" but with a K), a high school teacher from the Great White North (a.k.a. Canada). When I'm not wrangling teenagers in the classroom, I'm out trotting around the globe!

 

My whole life has revolved around travel and food. I've lived in 3 different countries - the Philippines, England, and now, Canada - representing three very different continents. So my palette is well-evolved and does not discriminate. (I can eat anything, even bugs!)

 

Immediately after obtaining my first university degree (Bachelor of Arts), I worked on cruise ships as a youth counsellor, sailing around the world while getting paid. Two years after, I decided to go for a Bachelor of Education to fulfill my childhood dream career: teaching. I absolutely love my job in Toronto and I would not trade it with anything else, but I do fly off to distant lands every chance I get. Luckily, us teachers get a handful of breaks!

Here's the scoop: I. love. food. Like, if food were a person, we'd be that annoyingly cute couple that finishes each other's sentences. (Sorry, hubby.) Whether I'm chowing down on street food in Bangkok, stuffing my face with tacos in Mexico, or pretending to be classy with a ridiculously expensive macaron in Paris (true story), I'm always on the hunt for my next delicious adventure.
